Source: Bernalillo County, NM, Sheriff Darren White, who told reporters at a Tuesday news conference that the department's Hughes 369 didn't crash because of mechanical or piloting problems -- but because it was shot down. The FBI has now been called in to investigate Saturday night's incident.
