DayJet To Add 28 New Destinations

Expands “Per-Seat, On-Demand” Service

Aero-News has learned DayJet Corporation will announce Monday the expansion of its “Per-Seat, On-Demand” service network to 28 new destinations across Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Mississippi.

The expansion will allow DayJet members to fly “Per-Seat, On-Demand” jet service to 28 additional regional destinations, when they begin or end their travel at one of the following five initial DayPort communities: Boca Raton, Gainesville, Lakeland, Pensacola or Tallahassee.

The network expansion, which goes into effect December 10, will come 60 days after the DayJet's official launch of service. DayJet President and CEO Ed Iacobucci says the rapid expansion comes in response to positive feedback, and customer requests for the air taxi operator to extend service to more locations.

“Since initiating service in October, the feedback from our membership base has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Iacobucci. “Business travelers in our region are reaping productivity benefits of turning regional travel that once required over-night stays or hours in the car into convenient and comfortable day trips. Adding these 28 new destinations to our network not only gives members in our DayPort markets more travel choices, but also provides a powerful link between communities that today have no direct scheduled jet service.”

New communities served by DayJet include Dothan and Mobile, AL; Boca Raton, Daytona Beach, and Sebring, FL; Savannah, GA; and Pascagoula, MS. A complete list of new destinations is available on the DayJet website.

DayJet operates a fleet of Eclipse 500 very light jets.
