Aspen Avionics Evolution MAX Upgrades In High Demand

Gives Current Aspen Owners An Opportunity To Upgrade Their Glass Displays For The Price Of A Steam Gauge Overhaul

Aspen Avionics has announced a program which allows current Aspen owners the opportunity to upgrade to the latest generation of Evolution Flight Displays, the MAX series of primary flight (PFD) and multi-function displays (MFD) at the approximate cost of a steam gauge overhaul.

The program is applicable to instruments regardless of age or condition, and includes the latest avionics glass technology, hardware and faster processing speeds. The upgrade is covered by a new two-year warranty.

“We’re not aware of any manufacturer in this industry that offers this type of upgrade program," said John Uczekaj, president and CEO. “Our corporate philosophy from the time we introduced the Evolution 1000 PFD 12 years ago was to offer new functions and safety features our current customers could adopt affordably and, provide future owners the peace of mind that their investment is protected as technology evolves."

Current customers are encouraged to take of advantage of this upgrade program before the promotional pricing period expires at the end of April. This program rewards our longstanding customers to upgrade at an exceptional price for a limited time. Even after the promotional period expires, this program continues to provide an exceptional value in keeping Aspen Avionics customer’s equipment up to date.

With redesigned electronics and new glass, the Evolution MAX series displays offer a bolder and brighter display with higher reliability and several customer-requested functions such as font and window enlargement and increased processing speeds, all while retaining Aspen’s unique form factor design that keeps installation costs down.

Aspen also offers an upgrade path from the recently certified EFD1000 E5 electronic flight instrument (EFI). At the list price of $4,995, the E5 is upgradable to a full TSOd MAX display demonstrating the company’s commitment to developing an avionics platform that can grow with a pilot’s needs. Aspen’s unique approach to designing and engineering new products for the general aviation community gives our current customer base (approximately 15,000 worldwide) a path to cost-effectively upgrade to the latest Aspen displays without investing in a new cockpit installation.

All MAX displays can be configured for one, two, or three units – providing more glass display area and information than leading competitors. As always, customers can choose to upgrade all at once, or start with a single unit display.
