Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA) announced Tuesday the election of 2009 officers for its World Business Partner (WBP)/Associates Board of Directors.

Robert Hazel, partner, Oliver Wyman, was elected by his colleagues to serve as Chairman of the 2009 ACI-NA WBP/Associates Board of Directors. Laddie E. Irion, vice president and director of air transportation at URS Corporation, was elected to serve as Vice Chair. Both the chairman and the vice chair are elected for one-year terms.

"The WBP/Associates Board leadership will allow the World Business Partner and Associate Member program to continue to be an invaluable resource for all of ACI-NA’s airport members," said Amy Peters, ACI-NA vice president of business development and staff liaison to the WBP/Associates Board of Directors. "The presence of more than 400 aviation-related businesses in the program continues to strengthen the voice of airports in the aviation industry."

The mission of ACI-NA’s WBP/Associates Board of Directors is to provide ACI-NA and its airport members expertise on airport operations and development; commercial activities; safety, security and quality customer service through the exchange of information; and business opportunities.

Other new members of the 2009 WBP/Associates Board, elected for three-year terms, include: Steven Baldwin, senior vice president of The Louis Berger Group; Armen DerHohannesian general manager of Armen DerHohannesian & Associates, LLC,; Bruce Feuer, vice president of business development at The Paradies Shops; and Kurt Krummenacker, lead analyst of the U.S. Airport Sector of Moody’s Investors Service.
