Meeting Manufacturer's New Training Requirements
Dassault Falcon has completed the
approval process to certify CAE SimuFlite's Falcon 2000 maintenance
program. CAE SimuFlite is the first training partner to meet
Dassault's expanded instructor and training program requirements
for the Falcon 2000.
"This certification represents a serious commitment on the part
of CAE SimuFlite and its instructors to meet Dassault's thorough
technical training requirements," said Gerry Goguen, Senior Vice
President of Customer Service for Dassault Falcon. "CAE SimuFlite
and its instructors have worked very hard to meet the high
standards Dassault has set for this training program."
To be certified, CAE SimuFlite had to meet the stringent
requirements set forth in the Dassault Falcon Training Policy
Manual (FTPM). Under FTPM, Dassault defines the objectives
necessary to meet training requirements to operate and support
Falcon aircraft. Dassault works in conjunction with the training
providers who will be regularly evaluated and audited for
compliance.
"With this new program, which
adheres strictly to Dassault's Falcon training policy manual,
operators are assured that their technical crews have the knowledge
needed to fully understand and safely maintain their aircraft,"
said Tom Stelter, CAE SimuFlite's vice president and general
manager. "Our mutual customers will enjoy a great benefit from this
enhanced level of training for both maintenance technicians and
pilots."
This initial effort by CAE SimuFlite under the FTPM process
focuses on Dassault's Falcon 2000 aircraft. CAE SimuFlite intends
to expand the FTPM process to other Falcon aircraft this year.
