Operating Restrictions and Requirements
No pilots may operate an aircraft in the areas covered by this
NOTAM (except as described).
Pursuant to 49 USC 40103(b), the Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA) classifies the airspace defined in this NOTAM as 'National
Defense Airspace'. Any person who knowingly or willfully violates
the rules concerning operations in this airspace may be subject to
certain criminal penalties under 49 USC 46307. Pilots who do not
adhere to the following procedures may be intercepted, and may be
detained and interviewed by law enforcement/security personnel.
Pursuant to Title 14 section 99.7 Code of Federal Regulation
(CFR), Special Security Instructions, all aircraft operations are
prohibited except as described below:
Approved law enforcement, military aircraft and emergency
medical flights in direct contact with ATC and are squawking an
assigned discreet beacon code are authorized.
All emergency medical flight operations shall be coordinated in
advance with Phoenix TRACON, at 602-306-2561.
