Through Good Service And The Willingness To Help Glider Soaring Enthusiasts, Cumulus Soaring, Inc. Has Made Lots Of Friends; But Now Help Is Needed
Aviation is full of entrepreneurs that are in the business because they love it. Such is the case with Paul Remde, the owner of Cumulus Soaring, Inc. Remde is renowned for his support of the sport of soaring and his willingness to provide services far beyond his business model. However, his company is facing financial hurdles and he is looking for help.
Remde said on his website, “I love my job. I enjoy supporting the soaring community and helping soaring pilots. I am very thankful for all the soaring friends I have made and the trust placed in me by soaring pilots from around the world. But I have come to a crossroads in my life and business and I need your help to be able to continue. I want to continue to support the gliding community for many more years.”
Looking for a way to reduce his business debt, Remde is offering a plan that he calls Mutual Support Memberships. The Mutual Support Memberships are being offered at various costs to provide different levels services. Remde says, “I call them "mutual" because I need your support (buying a membership), and I offer you my support in the form of discounts and free technical support. The cost of membership is relatively low to make it appealing to a wide variety of soaring pilots.”
The Cumulus Soaring, Inc. website includes complete details of the Support Memberships and a status update as to how the plan is progressing. In a recent posting Remde wrote, “I have been overwhelmed by the many extremely positive and supportive emails I have already received in regard to this pledge drive. I have already received 80+ pledges to purchase Mutual Support Memberships. However, there is a very long way to go.
Remde has set September 1 of this year as the decision point to determine if Mutual Support Memberships will allow him to continue his business.
