The Coast Guard presented Air Medals to four crew members during a ceremony at Air Station Sitka Friday, for their role in the rescue of a fisherman near Meyers Chuck, Alaska, Nov. 1, 2020. Rear Adm. Nathan A. Moore, commander, Coast Guard 17th District, presented Air Medals to Lt. Justin Neal, pilot; Lt. Stand-Down Ordered After An April 8 Ground Emergency

The first B-1B Lancers resumed flight operations May 3 following a safety stand-down issued April 20 by Gen. Tim Ray, Air Force Global Strike Command commander. Individual B-1B aircraft will return to flight as inspections and maintenance directed during the stand-down are completed on each aircraft. During the stand-down, maintenance depot personnel disassembled the Augmenter Fuel Filter Housing and performed a series of inspections. After each unit was determined to be free of defects, it was reassembled, pressure checked and returned to service.

On April 6, 2021, about 1500 eastern daylight time, an experimental amateur-built Bushby Mustang M II, N61EF, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Worcester, Massachusetts. The flight instructor and the pilot were not injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 instructional flight.
