On January 18, 2006 NASA announced the COTS program. COTS stands
for Commercial Orbital Transportation Services and is rooted in the
concept that private companies can provide a means of supplying
cargo and later crews to the International Space Station (ISS) in
light of NASA’s thinning budget.

Southern Air Holdings has entered into leases to add two Boeing
777F aircraft to its fleet. In March 2010, Southern Air became the
first ACMI operator to fly the 777F. When the new airplanes arrive
in March and April 2012, Southern Air will operate four of the
aircraft and remain the only ACMI provider to do so.
Bell Helicopter And CCAD Deliver Aircraft To Corpus
Bell Helicopter, in partnership with Corpus Christi Army Depot
and the Armed Scout Helicopter Project Management Office, delivered
the first OH-58D Kiowa Warrior Wartime Replacement Aircraft to the
United States Army at a special ceremony. The aircraft was the
first of a contracted 19 in the Army’s Wartime Replacement
Turbomeca has delivered its 10,000th Arriel production engine,
which will power a United States Army UH-72A Lakota helicopter.

multiple pilot errors, according to the official report from the
Interstate Aviation Committee. The report, published Wednesday in
Russia, says that the primary cause of the accident was "incorrect
braking," which caused problems during takeoff.

The Fort Worth City Council has on its plate a tax abatement
request from Bell Helicopter worth about $13.5 million over 20
