SATS Demo Slated For Sport Aviation Expo

Showing Off Advantages For Rural Communities

Aircraft from around Florida will participate in a Small Aircraft Transportation System (SATS) demonstration October 28th, an event that will kickoff the Community Air Service Initiative (CASI). The aircraft will fly to various initial destinations and then all converge at Sebring airport for a High Volume Operation technology demonstration. Various SATS technologies will be on display at Sebring which will also be hosting the US Sport Aviation EXPO.

Seven Reasons To See Red Bull Air Race

It Was Amazing

It could very well be the most exciting air race around -- the Red Bull Air Race in Hungary. Eight of the world’s finest aerobatic pilots flew across downtown Budapest Thursday and Friday -– over the Danube and right past the Parliament –- in a breathtaking competition with one another and against the clock. Flying the track between Budapest’s Chain and Margaret bridges, the aerobatic aircraft reached speeds of up to 400 kph. The winner: Kirby Chambliss, USA, second ranked Klaus Schrodt, GER and third place for the local hero Peter Besenyei.
