Zenair Goes Amphib With Pre-Drilled Fast Built Float Kit

Special Incentives Available For Cirrus, Cessna Owners

BRS Aerospace President Larry Williams announced Monday at AirVenture that they will begin providing full repack servicing of their whole airframe parachute recovery systems. The aircraft included will be the Cirrus Design SR20 and SR22, as well as Cessna's 172/182s.

USA Today, which for whatever reason now has a standing policy of talking down general aviation, was out yesterday with a cheap shot at EAA AirVenture. Tuesday's story on page 3A appeared under a subhead that reads, "Air show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin has a history of fatal crashes. The writer, Alan Levin, did acknowledge that the fatals to which he referred did not involve the airshow at Oshkosh, and that most involved obvious pilot mistakes, and many weren't even in the area.

Homebuilders Hanger Dedicated On AirVenture Grounds

AirVenture now has a dedicated hanger for homebuilt aircraft in the "old NASA pavilion" located next to the government pavilion. The hanger was formally dedicated Monday night by EAA President Tom Poberezny.
