Investigators are attempting to determine what caused a
single-seat Mini Max ultralight nose over and crash into a hangar
during what had been a routine flight around the pattern at
Fairchild Airport in Port Angeles, WA Thursday.
On Friday, CubCrafters received its Light Sport Aircraft (S-LSA)
airworthiness certificate for Sport Cub serial number CC11-0001.
FAA Aviation Safety Inspector Steve Slagle, of the Seattle MIDO
office, was on hand to make the presentation.
