It's no secret that personal electronics are becoming more and more prevalent in airplane cockpits, and not just the high-end bizjets and turboprops. The trend has led CubCrafters to make new instrument panel options available featuring space designated for the attachment of a tablet computer or similar device.

Part Of The Celebration Of The Airplane's 75th Anniversary

The Piper J-3 Cub, one of the legendary aircraft in aviation history, will take center stage for the next nine months as the grand prize for the 2012 EAA “Win The Cub” Aircraft Sweepstakes, which annually supports EAA’s aviation education programs. In a change from past years, entry forms will be available beginning this week through EAA AirVenture 2012 fly-in at Oshkosh, WI, on July 23-29.

AeroSport LLC To Represent Cheetah XLS In The U.S.

Not all the news was coming form Las Vegas this week. Midwest Sport Aviation, LLC announced Monday the appointment of AeroSport LLC as an authorized dealer of the Cheetah XLS Light Sport Aircraft from Rainbow Aircraft (PTY) LTD. Owned by Jeremy and Daniela Knoll, the AeroSport office is located in Twin Lakes, WI with their maintenance hangar and private strip located nearby in Hebron, IL, about 2 miles north of Galt Airport (10C).
