LSA's Come And Go, Tragic Accidents Mar The Industry

2011 was not a very good year for the air show industry , with several high-profile accidents leading to the NTSB to call for a special hearing on air show and air race safety ... which will take place in January. Meanwhile, Piper dropped its Piper Sport offering, leaving Cessna as the only legacy manufacturer with an LSA in its stable ... and that airplane got a lot more expensive. But other LSA manufacturers had a pretty good year.
