Pentagon And Congress Mull Fate Of Overseas Installations
Congress and the Pentagon are reportedly considering the number
of USAF bases it operates in Europe and Asia, and its not with an
eye towards expanding the U.S. presence overseas.
L-3 Link Simulation & Training (L-3 Link) has been awarded a
contract modification from Computer Sciences Corporation to provide
three UH-60M Operational Flight Trainers (OFTs) in support of
training services for the U.S. Army's Flight School XXI
program.
The Commemorative Air Force's (CAF) Consolidated B-24A Liberator
Ol' 927 will be joining country music star and CAF Spokesman Aaron
Tippin, for the first stop of the CAF's Red, White & Loud Tour
at the Colorado Sport International Air Show and Rocky Mountain
Fly-In August 28-29.
Charges Of Harassment May Have Been Improperly Dismissed
An investigation has been opened into allegations that the
inspector general of the Naval Air Force Atlantic Fleet mishandled,
and eventually improperly dismissed, complaints that an ensign had
been subjected to months of anti-gay harassment and sexual
discrimination.
