Responding to growing customer concerns, European
aerospace conglomerate EADS ordered an audit this week of its
Airbus A400M military transport program -- but denied rumors the
plane could be delayed as much as two years.
You can never have too many aviation museums, or
places of interest -- and Aero-News was pleased to learn this week
of the opening of a new aviation-themed facility known as the
Spirit of Flight Hall of Honor in Lafayette, CO.
Canadian military investigators have finished their probe into last month's crash
of a Cormorant helicopter off the coast of Canso. Three of the
seven crew members on board were killed in that watery crash, and
four others were injured.
The Defense POW/Missing Personnel Office (DPMO) announced
Wednesday three airmen missing in action from World War II have
been identified and are being returned to their families for burial
with full military honors.
