There was a unique sight to behold over St. Louis Aug. 10 as an
Air Force B-2 Spirit aircraft flew above the city as part of the
celebration of the inaugural Air Force Week. The aircraft, which is
based at the 509th Bomb Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., was
trailed by a C-130J Hercules from the 314th Airlift Wing at Little
Rock AFB, Ark.
The C-295 military transport of the Team JCA partnership of
Raytheon and EADS CASA North America has been selected by the US
Army to proceed to Phase II evaluation of the Joint Cargo Aircraft
(JCA) program.
