After paying a personal visit to the crash site in western
Afghanistan, Spain's defense minister said Wednesday the crash that
killed 17 of his soldiers appeared to be an accident.
About 100 US military members are playing an active part in the
Moscow air show August 16-21, as they allow visitors to get a
close-up look at the US Air Force aircraft.
It's been 60 years since the end of World War II, and the
Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) is commemorating the end of
that conflict and honoring those who sacrificed during that time.
EAA's salute to the men, women and aircraft of that time includes a
national "Allied Victory Tour" by one of the greatest military
airplanes ever built, a B-17 "Flying Fortress" bomber.
