Governor Steve Beshear Unveils Highway Sign Honoring America's
First Black Airmen
Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear (D) joined local leaders last Friday
to unveil a sign designating the entire I-75 corridor in Kentucky
as the ‘Tuskegee Airmen Memorial Trail’—a
191-mile stretch of highway from the Ohio to Tennessee borders.
Sikorsky Innovations announced Monday from the Farnborough
International Air Show that it has developed an all-electric
helicopter technology demonstrator. The Firefly Technology
Demonstration Aircraft will be unveiled on July 26 at the
EAA AirVenture exhibition in Oshkosh.
New LAAR Prototype Makes Public Debut At Farnborough
The new Beechcraft AT-6 Light Attack and Armed Reconnaissance
(LAAR) production ready test vehicle earned perfect marks during
its recent participation in the United States Air Force's Joint
Expeditionary Force Experiment (JEFX) in April.
Boeing said Tuesday at the Farnborough Airshow that it has
signed a memorandum of understanding with Aeronautics Ltd. to
market the DA42 Dominator unmanned aircraft system.
