Pentagon Announces Bio-Weapons Sensor Drill

Eighth Series Of Weather Radar Tests July 15 - 18

The United States Army, in conjunction with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Lincoln Laboratory, the FAA and the EPA will conduct a series of trials, Canadian River 8, to verify the technical readiness of an early warning system (Homeland Defense Chemical Biological Umbrella or HDCBU) for aircraft aerosol release events. This test will be conducted in the vicinity of Oklahoma City on July 15 to 18 from 0400 to 0900 daily.

The Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) recently began high angle-of-attack (AOA) flight testing on the T-50 Golden Eagle, a supersonic jet trainer being developed by Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) with technical assistance from Lockheed Martin.
