At least four of the remaining airworthy Boeing B-17 "Flying
Fortress" aircraft will be on hand to commemorate the legendary
World War II bomber's 75th anniversary during EAA AirVenture
2010.
Three-Hour Flight Tested All Operator Workstations
P-8A Poseidon aircraft T2 successfully completed the program's
first mission systems test flight on June 8 in Seattle, Boeing
announced Thursday. T2 will be used to verify integrated mission
systems performance during flights in Seattle and at Naval Air
Station Patuxent River, MD.
Company Says New Test Removes Subjectivity From Rotor Blade
Testing
Veracity Technology Solutions says it has successfully completed
a proof of concept demonstration with the U.S. Army for a
non-destructive inspection (NDI) process used for testing
helicopter rotor blades, but they're keeping details of the test
largely confidential.
