Boeing announced it has successfully flight-tested an
electro-optical/infrared targeting pod system designed for the B-1
bomber. A B-1 equipped with a Sniper XR electro-optical/infrared
targeting pod completed a series of flights from the Air Force
Flight Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base, CA.
Scott Rozzell, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of

Athena Technologies Brings Stricken Model Safely Back To

Rockwell Collins subsidiary Athena Technologies recently
completed a successful flight test of a significantly damaged
unmanned F/A-18 subscale model air vehicle. The Defense Advanced
Research Projects Agency (DARPA) sponsored the flight
demonstrations held this spring at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in
Maryland.
Company Has Manufactured Nearly 800 Airframes Since 1996
In a ceremony held at PZL-Swidnik's facility in Poland last
week, the 200th AW139 airframe to be manufactured by PZL-Swidnik
was accepted by AgustaWestland.
