Australian MoD, Eurocopter Reach Agreement On Helicopter Fix

Will Re-Set The Delivery Schedule, Correct Technical Problems With The Aircraft

The Australian Ministry of Defense and Eurocopter are working to resolve issues with the MRH-90 transport helicopter that has seen a raft of problems during its development. In an agreement worked out between the government and the manufacturer, Eurocopter will provide one additional aircraft at no cost to the government, as well as re-setting the six-year-old program's delivery schedule.

Engines Installed On P-3, C-130, C-2 Aircraft

Rolls-Royce has been awarded a $35 million contract extension for repair and overhaul of T56 engines on US Navy aircraft. The services contract covers depot-level repair of the T56 Series III engine modules to support fielded P-3 and derivative aircraft, as well as T56-powered C-130 and C-2 aircraft.
