Gunship/Helo Reported Down In Cleveland National Forest
ANN is monitoring reports of a Marine Corps helo crash near San
Diego, CA, in which two Marine aviators have reportedly lost their
lives. The aircraft went down shortly before midnight, Tuesday,
with two "highly qualified" pilots on board. Carrying live
ordinance, the AH-1W went down in the Cleveland National Forest to
the East of San Diego County.
The first painted P-8A Poseidon aircraft rolls out of the paint
hangar at Boeing's [NYSE: BA] Renton, Wash., facility, displaying
its new U.S. Navy livery.
