"Earthquake McGoon" Buried With Full Military Honors
The Department of Defense POW/Missing Personnel Office (DPMO)
announced Wednesday the remains of an American civilian pilot,
missing in action from Vietnam while flying for Civil Air
Transport, of the CIA, have been identified and returned to his
family.
Wings and Rotors Museum employees in Murrieta, CA wondered about
the sad, neglected little 1965 Cessna Skyhawk that had been sitting
on the tarmac for the last three years.
Eurocopter's new EC635 built for the Swiss Air Force
successfully completed its maiden flight at Eurocopter's
Donauwörth facility last week. The helicopter maker says the
schedule for manufacture and delivery of 18 EC635s for transport
and training missions and two EC135 for Federal Air Transport
Services is right on schedule.
