While there were a few minutes of concern from unwary New
Yorkers due to the many former and current military aircraft in
their skies for the Memorial Day weekend, the displays provided an
amazing view of the extraordinary aerial power this nation may
muster when freedom is threatened.
The United States Marine Corps and Naval Air Systems Command has
taken delivery of the thirteenth and last military version of
the Cessna Citation Encore, the UC-35D, at the Cessna Aircraft
Company production plant in Wichita, Kansas.
