Fire Scout Unmanned Helicopter, USS Bradley Set Deployment Record

Logged 600th Deployed Flight Hour On The Last Day Of March

The U.S. Navy’s MQ-8B Fire Scout unmanned helicopter surpassed another milestone in March when the MQ-8B Fire Scout helicopter completed its 600th deployed flight hour while embarked on USS Robert G. Bradley (FFG 49). The unmanned helicopter, part of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 22, logged its 600th deployed flight hour March 31. This record exceeds the previous Fire Scout deployment milestone by 100 hours.

The first C-130J Super Hercules to be delivered to the Republic of Tunisia landed Thursday, marking the first delivery to any African country. Training Exercise Done In Complete Radio Silence

In a recent training mission, four KC-10 Extenders from the 305th Air Mobility Wing headquartered at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J flew to a rendezvous point to meet with four KC-135 Stratotankers from the 6th Air Mobility Wing out of MacDill Air Force Base, FL. The KC-10s and the KC-135s flew to a designated point in a straight line a mile behind and 1000 feet above the preceding aircraft, in what is known as an En Route-Trail Formation.
