1st P-8A Poseidon Production Aircraft Delivered To The Navy

Aircraft Handed Over March 4 In Seattle, Flies To Jacksonville, FL

The first production P-8A Poseidon aircraft was handed over to the U.S. Navy in Seattle late last week. The P-8A is the first of 13 anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft Boeing will deliver as part of a low-rate initial production (LRIP) contract awarded in 2011.

Charges Dropped Against USCG Helo Pilot

Sole Survivor Of 2010 Accident Had Been Charged With Negligent Homicide

Following a December hearing, the Coast Guard has dismissed negligent homicide and other charges that were pending against Lt. Lance Leone. Leone was co-pilot of an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter which went down off the coast of Washington State. He was the only survivor.
