First-Time Success Using Satellite-Based Information
A second-generation Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) system achieved its first intercept using tracking information from the space tracking and surveillance system demonstration satellites during a recent Missile Defense Agency (MDA) test.

The United States Air Force Thunderbirds will perform at the annual Wings Over North Georgia Air Show, taking place Oct. 12-13 at Rome, GA's Richard B. Russell Regional Airport. At the Wings Over North Georgia show in October, the Thunderbirds jet team will be flying their six signature red, white and blue F-16 Falcons, accompanied by the Silver Wings, the U.S. Army parachute demonstration team.
President Says Patrouille Suisse To Be Disbanded By 2016
During a parliamentary security meeting Tuesday in Berne, Switzerland, President Ueli Maurer said that the country's jet demonstration team, the Patrouille Suisse, would be disbanded by 2016. The team has been in existence since 1964.
