Bell Helicopter said it was updating its civilian helicopter
line as a hedge against maturing military contracts. That move may
be coming just in time. The Pentagon reportedly will cut 24
aircraft, worth $1.75 billion, from its five-year budget for the
Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey program.
Cooperation Agreement Between Sweden And Hungary Extended By A
Decade
The defence and security company Saab said Monday that Hungary
is taking a long-term strategic decision to continue operating
Gripen and ensuring the continued development of its national
capability. Sweden and Hungary are extending the cooperation for
another ten years, until 2026.

Prince William is among those deployed.
The ACLU says on its blog that it has filed a lawsuit under the
Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) seeking information on a
"targeted killing program" which relies heavily on the use of UAVs.
The ACLU says that while its suit overlaps one filed by the New
York Times, they are also seeking "the government’s
evidentiary basis for strikes that killed three Americans in Yemen
in the fall of 2011."
