Multi-Role Helo Designed Primarily For ASW and ASuW
Missions
The first NH90 NFH helicopter has been delivered to the
Norwegian Armed Forces by AgustaWestland. The delivery ceremony
took place November 30 at the company's Vergiate facility. The
aircradft is the first of 14 NH90s intended to replace the Lynx
helicopters for the Coast Guard in addition to providing helicopter
ASW capability to the new Nansen class frigates.
Aircraft To Be Deployed In Darwin, Queensland, And South
Australia
The final production Tiger helicopter ordered by the Australian
Defense Force was delivered by Australian Aerospace Thursday. The
two-crew helicopter, many of which are now entering into service
with armed forces around the world including operational use by
French Army in Afghanistan Tiger ARH022 was accepted by Defence at
local defence manufacturer Australian Aerospace's Final Assembly
plant on Brisbane Airport.
