The North American Aerospace Defense Command and its
geographical component, the Continental United States NORAD Region
(CONR), will conduct a one-day exercise beginning late Monday
evening and continuing into the early morning hours Tuesday in the
National Capital Region, Washington, D.C.

The U.S. Army has awarded the fifth year contract for the Lakota
Light Utility Helicopter (LUH) to EADS North America for $247.2
million. The contract increases the company's supply of 45
additional Lakotas along with hardware to equip the rotary-wing
aircraft multiple applications.
