Flight Of The Phoenix Returns To The Silver Screen

December is going to be a good month for aviation movies. Due to the intense hoopla surrounding the Leonardo DeCaprio portrayal of Howard Hughes in "The Aviator," yet another "buzz-worthy" aero-picture is coming to theaters a few days early. 20th Century Fox has moved up the release of The Flight Of The Phoenix to Friday, December 17--five days earlier than originally planned.

USAF Discloses F-16 Accident Investigation Findings

G-LOC, Spatial Disorientation... Or Both?

Air Force officials have announced investigation findings of a May 19 F-16 Fighting Falcon crash on the Tohono O’odham Nation in Arizona. The pilot, Singaporean air force 2nd Lt. Kwang Han Loo, was killed in the crash. He was assigned to the 425th Fighter Squadron, a foreign military training squadron, at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz.
