Trigger On Laser Sight May Have Contributed To Mishap
The Air National Guard says an F-16 pilot on a night training
mission ignored a warning that might have kept him from
accidentally strafing a school in New Jersey.
Sailors from Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 2, along with
the crew of US Coast Guard Cutter Cypress, have recovered the Navy
Flight Demonstration Squadron's F/A-18 Hornet that crashed near
Perdido Key in early December.
