Hornet Down Near Las Vegas

An F/A-18 Hornet assigned to the Wildcats of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 131 crashed Nov. 9th after taking off from Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas. The pilot successfully ejected from the aircraft and was recovered by Air Force recovery crews. He is listed in good condition at a Nellis hospital.
