Delivery to the National Guard of UH-72A Lakota Light Utility
Helicopters (LUH) outfitted with the Security and Support (S&S)
Battalion Mission Equipment Package (MEP) is underway, according to
EADS North America. "This highly capable configuration is the
latest and most significant evolution of the Lakota and the
missions it is asked to perform," said Sean O'Keefe, CEO of EADS
North America.

A program manager at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station has been
named a co-winner of the national-level Women in Aerospace
Achievement Award. Capt. Amanda Zuber, a Space-Based Infrared
System field program manager assigned to the 45th Launch Support
Squadron, will receive her award in November 1 in Washington
D.C.
Led F-35 Mission Systems Team As An Air Force Officer
Michael “Willy” D. Andersen has been named Vice
President and Program Director for of the V-22 Osprey and deputy
director of the Bell-Boeing Program office. In this dual role,
Andersen will report directly to Mitch Snyder, executive vice
president of military programs at Bell Helicopter and to John
Rader, executive director of the Bell-Boeing V-22 Program.
