EADS North America marked a major industrial milestone for the
US Army’s UH-72A Lakota Light Utility Helicopter program this
week, delivering its first final assembly line (FAL) aircraft from
the Eurocopter production facility at Columbus, MS.

Saab has placed an order with Czech aerospace company AERO
Vodochody for the production of NATO pylons for the Gripen aircraft
system. Transfer of production will commence at the Aero facilities
at Vodochody in the Czech Republic in autumn this year.
