PZL-Swidnik Signs Contracts For Five Helicopters And 14 Upgrades

Total Contract Value Placed At Around $115 Million

The Polish Ministry of National Defence has signed an agreement with PZL-Swidnik for the supply of five W-3WA Sokól helicopters and the upgrade of 14 helicopters. The manufacture and upgrading activities will be undertaken at the PZL-Swidnik factory in Poland, and the total value of the contract is placed at about $115 million (US).

Sukhoi Began Flight Tests Of 3rd Serial Su-35S Fighter

Airplane Reportedly Performed 'Flawlessly'

The 3rd serial multi-purpose fighter — Su-35S-3 joining the flight test program Tuesday. Piloted by test pilot Taras Artsebarsky, the airplane took off from the airfield at the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association. Various modes of propulsion and integrated control systems, as well as stability and controllability characteristics, were tested in the flight, which lasted over two hours. Engines, systems and equipment all reportedly operated 'flawlessly'.
