Aero-News has learned aerospace manufacturing provider Crestview
Aerospace Corporation has been awarded a multi-million dollar Bell
Helicopter Textron contract. The contract calls for the production
of UH-1Y helicopter airframe structures over an eight-year period
and is potentially worth more than $100 million.
Recovery efforts continue at the scene of an accident involving
a Russian-built AN-24 military plane (file photo of type,

of Telkibanya, about one mile from the Slovak border.
Base, Builders Make Concessions For Housing Project
In a preemptive measure to avoid a future NIMBY battle, Air

build a 13,000-acre residential development along the south edge of
Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM: the base operates
helicopters and F-16s, and occasionally sets off bombs. They all

Coalition aircraft flew 50 close-air-support missions January 18
for Operation Iraqi Freedom. They included support to coalition
troops, infrastructure protection, reconstruction activities and
