A PT-19 World War II trainer aircraft has crashed at Corsicana
Municipal Airport in Corsicana (TX) after eyewitnesses saw the
aircraft lose power and nose into the ground after takeoff.
On September 1, the Toledo (OH) police department set somewhat
of a record. Using an airborne patrol aircraft, a Robinson R-44
helicopter, teamed up with officers on the ground on I-75, a total
of 204 vehicles were stopped for speeding.
The Ninety-Nines, an International Organization of Women Pilots,
is sponsoring a worldwide "Fly for Breast Cancer Cure" during
September and October, 2004.
The PC Pilots Ireland will hold Ireland's first combined
Computer Flight Simulator and Aviation Show on Sunday, September 19
at the Red Cow Hotel, Naas Road, Dublin, from 1000 to 1700.
