Tropical Depression #11 formed near the Windward Islands Monday
and is forecast to become Tropical Storm Jeanne Tuesday. T.D. #11
is moving northwest at 12 mph with maximum sustained winds of 35
mph. A deep burst of convection is currently over the center of the
system and the depression is expected to become a Tropical Storm at
any time.
Four people were lost Sunday night when a Cessna 182 headed for
an unknown destination -- perhaps Sikeston (MO) went down on an
island in the Missouri river.
