Elevator Cables May Become Slack, Causing Premature Wear
The WACO Classic Aircraft Company has issued a service bulletin
for its YMF WACO F5A, SN F5001- F5009; YMF WACO F5B, SN
F5010-F5036; and YMF WACO F5C, SN F5C040-F5C122, for elevator cable
wear due to the cables becoming slack.
John Mazza Jr and Alex N Vogel Tapped For The Posts
Virgina Governor Robert F. McDonnell has announced that John
Mazza Jr. of Matoaca, VA and Alex N. Vogel of Upperville,
VA have been appointed to the Virginia Aviation Board.
GAMA released the industry's second quarter shipment and
billings figures on Wednesday. The numbers show that in the first
half of 2010, total GA airplane shipments fell 9.8 However,
billings for general aviation airplanes totaled $9.40 billion in
the second quarter of 2010, up 0.2 percent.
The Aircraft Electronics Association released the results from
its 2010 Rate & Labor Survey this week to participating AEA
member companies. The AEA discovered a promising business outlook
for the remainder of 2010 and into 2011.
