and threatening to, again, enjoy some air beneath its wings in
celebration of the century milestone.
Kerosene/Diesel Engine Now Certified In 61 Countries
With the announcment that Centurion has obtained approval for
its 1.7 and 2.0 liter engines in Brazil, the engine is now
certified in all of the principal countries involved in general
aviation.

Excellence
Gus Kyriakos, Aspen Avionics’ Vice President of
Engineering, has been nominated as a candidate for Design
News’ prestigious Engineer of the Year award. Kyriakos was
nominated along with three other engineers, with the winner
selected by on-line voting by the magazine’s readers.
