As many know, Cessna Aircraft Company is celebrating the 50th
anniversary of its popular C-182 Skylane model for 2006... and
the aircraft manufacturer has just announced a special
promotion aimed at combating the highest fuel prices seen in that
half-century.

verbiage associated with our earlier story on the announced sale of
Tiger Aircraft LLC (the company that did produce the
Tiger for a number of years before pretty much running out of money
last year), the attempted sale of the AG-5b Tiger series did run

It could have been A LOT worse... as a father and his
three-year-old son were found alive Wednesday morning after their
small plane went down during an attempted landing at McElroy
Airfield near Kremmling, CO several hours before.
It's not a secret -- flying in Alaska requires a certain breed
of pilot, and a high level of skill. Just ask the pilots flying for
the Alaska Region Forest Service, which is celebrating a remarkable
milestone this summer: 10 years of accident-free flying.
