Australia's CASA to Host Briefings on Alcohol and Drug Testing

The Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) has announced that it will host a series of briefings on alcohol and drug testing for safety-sensitive personnel. The briefings will be held from August 31 through October 11, 2006, in cities throughout Australia.

Mark V. Rosenker Sworn In As 11th Chairman Of NTSB

Mark V. Rosenker took the oath of office today (Friday) as the 11th Chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board. Chairman Rosenker became a Member of the Board in March 2003 and was designated by President Bush as Vice Chairman of the Board that April. In March of 2005, Rosenker became Acting Chairman, a position he has held until today.
