Asks Government Leaders To Remove Restrictions To Airport

ACI-NA President Greg Principato has written to President Obama,
Vice President Biden, and the bipartisan congressional leadership,
urging them to remove the federal government’s restrictions
on airport funding, facilitating critical aviation infrastructure
development and job creation.
Follows Probable Cause Report From A Fatal Accident Involving A
Police Helicopter
While the NTSB's probable cause report from an accident in 2009
cited a New Mexico State Police pilot's decision making as the
primary cause for a fatal accident, the board also had
some harsh words for the culture of the police department which it
says stressed mission execution over safety.
Federal investigators say two adults and two children were
fatally injured Thursday night when a Mooney M20 impacted a medical
building in Watsonville, CA.
