Hangars Not Ready, Sit Empty Two Months After Opening
The GA hangars at the new Northwest Florida Beaches
International Airport (KCEP) are still empty nearly two months
after the facility officially opened, and pilots say they are not
comparable to what they have at their old home.
DC-3/C-47s And Some Of The Veterans Who Flew Them Coming To

An historic event, billed as “The Last Time”, has
been organized to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the DC-3 type
aircraft. Designed as an airliner in 1935, the DC-3 was pressed
into military service in WWII as the C-47 and served in every
theater of the war.
National Business Center's Aviation Management Directorate
Completes Second Small UAS Training
The Department of the Interior (DOI) National Business
Center’s (NBC) Aviation Management Directorate (AMD), in
conjunction with U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and Aerodyne
Corporation, just completed the second-ever Raven A Small UAS
(sUAS) training course for DOI employees.
For a period of time earlier this year, Ocala International
Airport (KOCF) in central Florida was operating without an Airport
Operating Certificate allowing part 139 operations. The FAA pulled
the ticket when it found numerous safety violations.
