While the rumors have been running hot and heavy about the
damage suffered by over 60 aircraft at the Columbia Aircraft
factory in Bend, OR, an onsite inspection by ANN indicates that the
damage may be far less extensive than feared.

The sun rose on day three of the Northwest EAA Fly-In in
Arlington, WA... and we mean, it actually rose, with sunlight and
everything. The low-hanging clouds and light rain that hung over
the first two days of this year's event were far, far away... and
the crowds responded, both in the air and on the ground.
Garmin International Inc. told ANN Friday about some exciting
new options for its GDL 90 ADS-B transceiver, which allow the unit
to now send ADS-B and TIS-B traffic files to Garmin 400 and 500
series navigators -- including the WAAS approved GNS 480 and the
popular GPSMAP 396.
