BRS Loses $3.4M Verdict

In a lawsuit filed by Charles F. Parsons and Aerospace Marketing, Inc., a Florida jury found that Ballistic Recovery Systems, Inc., committed a breach of a contract related to the GARD-150 product and failed to perform its obligations under a contract related to the GARD-172 and awarded the plaintiffs approximately $3.4 million in damages.

Vimy Goes The Distance

Steve Fossett and Mark Rebholz successfully flew the Vickers Vimy for just over 18 hours across the Atlantic to land on an Irish golf course. The flight departed from Newfoundland at 1919 hrs Saturday and arrived in Ireland at 1704 hrs Sunday.

Aviate, Navigate, Communicate

A pilot of a Cessna violated restricted airspace around Camp David Saturday, and the pilot was questioned and released. The aircraft was intercepted about eight miles from the presidential retreat by two F-16 fighters around 2245 Saturday.
