Despite Tort "Reform,"The Legal System Isn't Getting Any Less
Strange...
While the statute of repose was supposed to minimize legal
exposure for long suffering aviation businesses, it seems that the
legal profession still knows how to extract a lot of money from
this business... even when the facts don't seem to support that
effort.
We're sure there's more of a story to this than meets the eye
when reading this accident summary, but we're dying to hear why a
Beech 24 was apparently left to fend for itself, sitting a pond at
the end of a runway.
